Blacks are subjected to harsher sentencing than others, whites and Hispanics. In this article she compares methadone to crack cocaine. Thee is no comparison.
Crack cocaine and powder cocaine are the same drug, but because blacks use crack more than whites, the penalty for crack is a felony while the penalty for powder cocaine is a misdemeanor.
The racism in this country needs to stop.
