Another teen has decided that the gun is the answer to the unrelenting violence and bullying that he was experiencing. Luckily, a teacher was able to TALK this suffering young man out of destroying his life and his tormentors and she did it by talking him out of it ionstead of dropping him with a bullet as the NRA and some have suggested is the answer to these situations. Finally there is an answer why these tragic incidents play out over and over in our so called civilized society. The shooter is not mentally ill nor was he emulating a hero in one if the many shoot em up, blow em up movies that our society seems to worship.
Now it remains for us to come up with a solution to end bullying and its consequences, sometimes deadly.
