Crook County Strikes Again -

New data shows blacks fleeing the high crime in Chicago, a city known for its rampant corruption.

The city also is populated by human traffickers who have made females their primary target as sex slaves.

FOX32 ran this article:

Chicago's Black Population Drops to 3rd

There was a time when African-Americans fled north to escape the racial oppression of the South.

But that trend has reversed according to a study showing that the Chicago area's population of African Americans has dropped from second to third place behind Atlanta.

This reversal of the ''Great Migration'' is one of the findings of a Brookings Institution Study, ''The State of Metropolitan America,'' released over the weekend.

In 1990, metropolitan Atlanta's black population ranked seventh in the nation. By 2000, it was fourth. And by 2008, Census estimates put Atlanta in second with 1.669 million African-Americans, eclipsing Chicago's 1.667 million. The New York City area remains the largest concentration of African-Americans, with 3.1 million.

CPS Schools- overhauled

Former CPS Chief, Michael Scott committed suicide or was murdered as charges of improper use of credit cards and other charges of corruption were made against him, now Huberman is cleaning house.

Eighty principals -- some of them only a year or two into their contracts -- will be replaced to shape up chronically-under-performing Chicago Public Schools, Schools CEO Ron Huberman said Monday.

Huberman made the surprise disclosure under questioning from Ald. Ray Suarez (31st) during a City Council Finance Committee hearing on Round Two of Mayor Daley's plan to use tax-increment-financing dollars for school construction.

The unprecedented number of principal changes will be accomplished through a combination of "retirements, disciplinary removal and voluntary resignations," Huberman said.

"We're gonna be removing approximately 80 principals. ... That is a very high number for us. We don't believe those principals are performing for schools. ... A key leader in a school makes a big difference," he said.

"Many of these planned exits of principals we don't believe are performing are folks who are one or two years into their contract. If a principal is not performing, simply the fact they have a contract is not something that prevents us from acting on that removal."

Suarez said some of the schools in his Northwest Side ward have been so bad for so long, they've turned supportive parents and gung-ho politicians into advocates for school vouchers.

"This didn't just happen last week. This has been going on for many, many years. And you still give the same excuse: 'We're working on it. We have a contract.' In private industry when you have a leader and he's not performing, I don't care what kind of contract he's got. He's out," Suarez said.

"I'm starting to become more and more a believer that the only way you're gonna get the message across is through a voucher system. If that school doesn't change, then those parents have a right to take their kids to a better school."

Huberman countered, "We're not giving excuses. ... These are all planned exits that are being executed."

As for the $175 million installment of Daley's school construction plan, it was temporarily de-railed amid complaints that money was being raided from adjacent TIF's and that restrictive attendance policies made it difficult for residents of those wards to send their kids to the new schools.

"You all are putting us in a bind. You know we can't go against [building] schools," Ald. Walter Burnett (27th) yelled during a lengthy rant.

"Our TIF dollars should not be used for these schools. It's not right how you all are doing this. ... You gotta play fair. You've got to stop playing us."

Crook County Strikes Again

Fake crime stats released again. When lazy and corrupt - lie, its the Chicago way.

Chicago's violent crime numbers for April are in. Police Superintendent Jody Weis says the overall crime rate is down but homicides are up.

It's a sad reminder to a sorority of women on Chicago's Southside. There are no tears of joy on Mother's day for them. They all lost a child to violence in Chicago.

A statue was dedicated in honor of their children at Saint Sabina on the Southside Sunday. This is Dominique Mayo's second Mother's day without her son, Sameere. A shooting scene in her neighborhood Saturday night brought back horrible memories.

Mayo says, "When I saw that yellow tape and the police cars and that brought back that night when I was coming home."

Mayo says her 15 year old son was shot and killed on his way home from a football game.

She says he was the target of a gang member who was trying to recruit him. Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis talked about the latest violent crime numbers for April. "I am pleased to announce that overall crime is down 6.9 percent compared to last year."

Even with a spike in violence at the beginning of April, reports show there has been a decline in violent crimes overall in Chicago this year by 11 percent.

Weis says the one violent crime to increase in the last year is homicides, by 8 percent.

As of Mother's day, there have been 127 homicides in Chicago.

Weis says 33 of them happened behind closed doors. "When they're indoors, there's not a lot that we can do to prevent that."

Instead of celebrating, Dominique Mayo is mourning this Mother's day and she's praying for an end to violent crimes in Chicago like the one that killed her son. "What do you think would have saved your son?" Mayo replied, "If that young man hadn't had that gun."

As part of I-CARE week, the first of many youth led events kicks off Monday afternoon at Daley Plaza. Hundreds of young people from all across the city are expected to gather for a rally to show outrage over the recent homicides in Chicago.

CPD: According to preliminary crime statistics through the end of April 2010:

Violent Index Crime is down 11 percent

Homicide - up 8 percent

Criminal Sexual Assault - down 13.2 percent

Robbery - down 13.6 percent

Aggravated Assault - down 14.8 percent

Aggravated Battery - down 5 percent

Property Index Crime is down 5.7 percent

Burglary - down .8 percent

Theft - down 10.9 percent

Motor Vehicle Theft - up 13.7 percent

Arson-- down 20 percent

One year ago this march, I joined the world of twitter, neglecting my own blog to do so.

Today, I rejoined the world of bloggers.

Since I've been away, there have been four highly public suicide of top officials, the last being Metra's top guy, Phil Pagano, who walked onto Metra train racks and waited for a metra train to hit him and kill him.
Pagano's suicide was on the same day he was expected to be fired or censure for corruption and giving himself an undeserved 56,000 bonus.

Pagano is the fourth top public official to die of suicide because of corruption. The others were Michael Scott (chicago public Schools), Chris Kelly ( fund-raiser for former Gov Blagojevitch),

Two Fire Comd have been investigated for sexual harassment.

A Chicago Fire Commander resigned by retiring the same day Metra's Chief, Pagano --- committed suicide.

Ald Caroothers was indicted and sent to jail.

House Speaker Michael madigan has been accused of using clout to get people into UiC and no budget has been passed for the upcoming year.

Indicted, former Gov Blagojevitch has been fired from Celebrity Apprentice, he was bad, bad and is now on trial for trying to sell POTUS Obama's former Senate seat.

Our new Top Cop's nickname has been changed from J-Fed to J-Fled as he was accused of cowardice for leaving the scene of a shooting while at least 50 CPD stood around at J-Fed's Press Conference called together to discuss the epidemic of violent crime in Chicago.

Mayor Daley and J-Fed, hosted another gun "buyback" and Mayor Daley said the violence is the parent's fault and they even have domestic violence in their homes.

The violence is due to the unending corruption on this city that starts at the top.

It is time for Mayor Daley to retire as the Supreme Court debates if Chicago's gun control law is unconstitutional and gun violence is as widespread as the Mayor is dumb.

Time to vote them all out.

How to start a career as a model

Tyra Banks' show "America's Next Top Model, has sparked a lot of interest in becoming a model which is a good thing for our girls...and boys.

A brief "how to" follows- any other questions can be made in the comment section.

You should start a portfolio. You need a good photographer, not an expensive one either. To start, you will need in your portfolio, a head shot (your face and shoulders), a product shot (you holding a product, i.e. Cell phone) and wild card shot- something you like doing, maybe you dancing, skating or sky diving or tweeting.

You can study fashion magazines for different poses to try, the photographer is only going to take your picture. They will only give you minimal advice on posing.

Your completed portfolio will include "comp cards".

This looks like a post card with a thumbnail of each of your pics, head shot, prod. Shot), this is what you take to the modeling agencies.

You can register online with some agencies.

My contact photographer is John Manning. His company is John Manning Photography and his online shop is OneModelPlace.com.

You should check it out and once you get some pics, unload them and register with his company.

John got work for my daughter and her friends that we referred to him.

Your photos should be young and fresh. Do not go for sexy or punked pics yet.

If you need help picking out clothes to model, I can assist you there too.

Your mom or dad can act as your agent at first, actually a glorified secretary.

Do not pay for expensive photo packages or modeling/charm school rip offs, they are ripoffs.

If you do not know or cannot find a good photographer in Canada, let me know.

I can contact John for a referral. He also travels and may plan to visit your city soon.

I think I covered everything, but after you read this, feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Good luck

One more thing, you can start your portfolio with as many photos as you can afford to pay for. The package above is a "basic" package or the minimum pics you will need.

When you start working, ask for some of the pictures from the job you completed. They will be happy to give them to you. This shows potential clients the different kinds of work you can and have done and your portfolio will get bigger, letting clients know you have a lot of talent.

Crime down only in "fake" statistics

Police say they killed each other in a "mutual combatant" situation. a knife was recovered.

This is how crime goes down, this is obviously a murder-suicide.

Crook County strikes again!
